Amorphous Vase by Erica
Designed and made by Erica, The Netherlands circa 1950. A unique and avant-garde piece that breaks all conventions of a typical vase. This pale grey ceramic vase with its amorphous shape is ahead of its time, making it a statement piece in any room.
Resembling a cone with a closed end, this vase is designed to be positioned horizontally, with the tip of the cone curling upwards. It is supported by 3 small legs, lifting the base of the vase above the table surface, adding to its unique charm. The tripod legs provide stability, while the many holes allow you to arrange your flowers individually, creating a beautiful and personalised display.
This stunning piece was originally showcased in an exhibition at the Museum Station in Kropswolde in 2015, alongside 250 other pieces of Erica's stunning designs.
