Marcel Wanders 'Storage Jar' for Randstad

Designed by Marcel Wanders for Randstad, The Netherlands.  A promotional piece created for the Winter Olympic games, this limited edition storage jar is a rare find, that was not available for sale to the public.  Originally this storage jar would have been filled with individually wrapped sweets with different winter sports themes.
 
With its oval shape ceramic base and protruding rectangle neck, this jar is a signature piece of Marcel Wander's whimsical design, which add a touch of playful charm.  The jar is designed to fit a wooden lid marked with the 'Randstad' logo.
