Aldo Londi 'Sailor' Ceramic Wall Hanging Figurine for Bitossi

Designed by Aldo Londi for Bittossi, Italy circa 1960s.  This iconic and whimsical design ceramic wall hanging figurine is part of the 'Sailor & Mary' collection.  The blue glossy Rimini glaze of the figurine provides a stunning contrast with the rough black texture accents which complement each other, making it a visually striking addition to any wall.  The embossed detail and modelling showcases its unique hand-made construction.
